Was this a ride and handling/touring package car? I see a rear sway bar peeking out near the differential cover. Mega super bonus points for such wise option choices.

I was never a fan of the unique '77 tail lights but they look a lot better in person than they do in pictures.... got to check out a black '77 Coupe de Ville earlier today. Was the one I had seen parked at the same address a few years before. For some reason I thought it was gold, haha. Damn memory changing fine details like that! Anyway it had really weird options: leather seats, sunroof, half vinyl top, but the standard rear window. (i.e. not the formal/frenched rear window like this one has). Guy who owns it has some even older iron, so he uses the '77 as a winter beater. He wasn't looking to sell it yet, so I did the next best thing by volunteering to buy it a few years down the road, haha.
